Celebrated dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was seen performing at the campaign launch of the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Inusah Fuseini on Saturday October 1, 2016.
Alhaji Fuseini who is the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources in the Mahama led National Democratic Party (NDC) government, had a massive launch with an attendance that is historic some residents of the constituency have said.
Shatta Wale’s presence may have contributed to the parked attendance given many of his supporters wanted to identify with the NDC in order to see him perform live.
Shatta Wale’s ‘Mahama Paper’ has become the official song for the NDC’s ‘JM Toaso’ campaign nationwide.
Shatta Wale had earlier stated the song was no composed with the president or his 2016 campaign in mind.
