Drop NDC-NPP “military-in-disguise” gov’ts – Ayariga

APC Flagbearer Hassan Ayariga
Flagbearer for the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga has called on Ghanaians to vote for him in the November 7 elections for an all-inclusive government.
According to Mr. Ayariga, an all-inclusive government is what Ghanaians need because in order to change people you must include them in the governance process. He is of the view that Ghanaians have not gotten that inclusion from the NDC or the NPP that is why the country is at its worst today.
“It is an idea that people are involved [in the governance process]. If you want to change people, you must involve them in the process of change for change to be effected. So when you don’t involve them in the process of change, it will be very difficult to change people,” Hassan Ayariga stated in a discussion with Nana Aba Anamoah on State of Affairs.
He continued: “President Kuffour didn’t [have an all-inclusive government]. No government has practiced all-inclusive till date.”
The founder and leader of the APC describes the kind of governments Ghana has had over the years as the winner-takes-it-all kind and believes it is more of a military regime in disguise and calls on Ghanaians to vote for him to put an end to that.
“It is the kind of politics I call military regime in disguise. The winner is taking everything; it is practically like a military regime. You are the military leader, you have the power to fire, power to do everything.”

Mr. Ayariga believes that Ghana’s suffering is not because Mahama is the current President neither because NDC is the party in government. He attributes Ghana’s problems to the inertia of Ghanaians.
“Ghana is suffering today not because the President of the Republic of Ghana [John Mahama] is president. Ghana is in crisis today not because NDC is in government, not at all. Ghana equally is not suffering because NPP has ever ruled our country, not at all,” he emphasized.
“Ghana is suffering because the good people of Ghana are quiet. They are not part of what is happening. Only a few people are managing our economic affairs and for that matter, we have actually sidelined a lot of human resource that are supposed to be part of our economy transformation. Most of them are sitting down…”
