First ever 'Made in Ghana' cars are built to survive anything

The primary autos to convey a "made in Ghana" seal will be under a cruel spotlight as they get ready to enter the commercial center and tackle the real worldwide brands.

The man that got it going is under no illusions about the trouble of the errand.

"The greatest test is individuals accepting (and) having confidence in the auto," says Kwadwo Safo Jr, CEO of Kantanka Group - the country's first makers. "Individuals think the entryways will fall off or the tires will pass over or something."

To demonstrate the Kantanka models are sufficiently intense for neighborhood conditions, Safo gave them a rite of passage serving the Ghanaian police.

"They harsh handle autos a ton," he says. "They took the auto, and made it speak to the masses."

"These autos are made for Ghana. We know how the streets are, and we manufactured them to stand the streets."

In spite of positive surveys, Kantanka Group confronts another test as a little administrator looking to contend with set up adversaries. The assembling base in Accra can deliver only 100 autos month, and with high expenses, the least expensive of three models costs around $20,000.

However, given the fast advance as of not long ago, such troubles don't discourage Safo from imagining, and his fantasies are not constrained to the local business sector.

"We've gotten this far in light of the fact that we have confidence in the potential outcomes," he says. "One day we will be all over the world."
